hbw | Conference Center: Conference rooms in Munich

The hbw | House of Bavarian Industry with a prestigious congress center is one of the leading conference venues and is located in the heart of Munich, near Karlsplatz (Stachus). It comprises the ConferenceArea on the ground floor with three impressive conference rooms and a self-contained Meeting Area on the 3rd floor. For exclusive meetings, the ExecutiveArea on the 6th floor of the hbw is available. Here you will find a conference room with a view over the rooftops of the Bavarian capital.

Three spacious event halls in the Conference Area

In the Conference Area on the ground floor, our three conference rooms offer countless possibilities to provide the perfect setting for your event.

Here, you'll find the spacious Europasaal, the Münchner Saal, and the Bayernsaal, as well as the light-filled foyer, ideal for press conferences, annual general meetings, workshops, congresses, and receptions.

All conference rooms feature natural daylight, air conditioning, accessibility, and state-of-the-art digital audio and video technology.

Our professionalism and expertise are based on more than 35 years of experience in the event industry. Many renowned companies, ministries, associations, and agencies appreciate the atmosphere we create in our Munich conference rooms for annual general meetings, press conferences, congresses, in-house trade fairs, virtual events, and seminars.

The Europasaal offers an interpreting system with interpreter booths for international events. A variable 45 m² panoramic screen (14 m x 3.45 m) with surround sound and multi-projection capability perfectly showcases your presentation. A large 15 m² LED wall is also available in the light-filled foyer.

The conference rooms of the ConferenceArea in Munich meet all legal and technical requirements for holding annual general meetings. All events at the conference center comply with the German Assembly Venue Ordinance (VStättV).

Nine modern and flexible seminar rooms in the meeting area

Are you looking for the ideal training room for your workshop in Munich or a private atmosphere for personal discussions? On the third floor of the hbw ConferenceCenter, you'll find our MeetingArea with a separate reception area, cloakroom, and lounge. Here, up to eight modern meeting rooms ranging from 13 to 75 m² are available, offering flexible seating arrangements for training courses, seminars, and meetings.

Are your meeting participants located across the globe and unable to be in Munich? No problem, all our rooms are equipped with mobile or built-in video conferencing systems.

The Regensburg meeting room is ideal for meetings in Munich with up to 8 people. The seminar room has natural light but can be darkened if needed. Booking the Regensburg room is only possible when booking the entire meeting area.

Small but perfectly formed: The individual meeting rooms Nürnberg (I, II, or III) at the Munich location each offer a pleasant and personal atmosphere for seminars, workshops, and meetings for up to 18 people. Seminar rooms Nürnberg I, II, and III can be booked individually or together.

The Nürnberg I + II meeting rooms at our Munich location, with a total area of 50 m², are the perfect seminar room for training sessions and workshops for up to 36 people. Various seating options and natural daylight create a pleasant meeting atmosphere for small to medium-sized groups. For presentations, we offer a full HD projector and various presentation materials such as flip charts, a moderator's kit, and pinboards. If you require even more space, you can also rent the Nürnberg I, II, and III meeting rooms in Munich together.

Room Nürnberg I + II + III

The Nürnberg I + II + III room at the Munich location can accommodate up to 55 people, making it the largest conference room in the MeetingArea. With flexible seating arrangements and equipped with modern digital audio and video technology, as well as presentation materials, it is perfectly suited for lectures, meetings, and training sessions. A projection screen with a Full HD projector is available for your presentations.

Room Bamberg

The Bamberg meeting room, with its large oval conference table and comfortable high-backed leather armchairs, is ideal for round-table discussions as well as workshops, seminars and meetings with up to 16 people.

Room Augsburg

In the room "Augsburg", we offer a permanently installed white conference table and elegant white leather chairs for up to 7 people, perfect for meetings, training sessions, and workshops. The Würzburg meeting room is ideal for meetings of up to 8 people. A 55-inch Full HD monitor is available for presentations. Need more space? A flexible partition allows you to combine the Würzburg and Coburg meeting rooms in Munich for a total area of 32 m².

Room Coburg

The Coburg room in Munich is ideal for small meetings or training sessions of up to 8 people. The seminar room has natural light but can be darkened if needed. For larger events, you can rent the Coburg and Würzburg meeting rooms together at our Munich location. A movable partition wall creates a combined space of 32 m². The room can be arranged with flexible seating upon request.

Are you looking for the perfect space for a seminar, training session, or meeting? A movable partition wall combines the Würzburg and Coburg meeting rooms at our Munich location into a single 32 sq m room, giving you the freedom to implement your plans. The seminar room, accommodating up to 20 people, can be arranged with flexible seating upon request. The meeting room features natural daylight and is equipped with two 55-inch Full HD monitors and a wide range of presentation materials.

Do you want to relax, network, or enjoy the catering? We have the perfect place for you. Our lounge offers an open, quiet space with plenty of sunlight.

An exclusive conference area in the Executive Area on the 6th floor, overlooking the rooftops of Munich.

Here, you can welcome only your guests in a discreet atmosphere. The Executive Area is accessible via a private entrance and offers its own adjoining catering area for your event.

Our studios

The hbw | House of Bavarian Industry houses three studios.

On the second floor is our greenscreen studio, which lets you immerse yourself in virtual worlds and exciting projects.

One floor above are two studios: our new audio studio, which, at 10 square meters, is the perfect place for small audio productions and podcasts, and our TV studio for television productions and much more. Our edit suite is connected to both studios. This serves as the interface between the two studios and can be used for post-production, among other things.
