In the Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft there is a public car park with a limited number of parking spaces. There are further car parks nearby. See our homepage under directions.

Our reception will gladly order a taxi for you. The internal phone number of the reception is -8176.

The next taxi stand is at the Stachus Square (Karlsplatz), about 5 walking minutes from the hbw.

In the area around the Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft there are a lot of prestigious hotels. Our event manger team will be pleased to provide you with competent advice and help you with the hotel booking.

Every event area has an open checkroom for our guests. There is no guarded checkroom. Luggage or other things can't be left at the reception desk. The hbw is not liable for objects left in the checkroom.

Our ConferenceCenter offers free Wi-Fi for all the guests. You can find the login information at the reception desk and in the event area.

Disabled visitors have proper access in the ConferenceCenter. On the ground floor (ConferenceArea) there is a wheelchair accessible restroom. The wing doors in the ConferenceArea are broader. The Europasaal offers induction loops for our guests with special hearing aids.

The conference rooms in the Meeting and ExecutiveArea are provided with elevators access. The doors in the MeetingArea on the third floor have a normal size of 1.20 m.

Munich's city center offers many cultural attractions. Munich's landmark “Dom zu unsrer lieben Frau“ commonly known as "Frauenkirche" (Church of our Lady), the Marienplatz with Munich's neo-gothic City Hall and its world famous Glockenspiel (chimes), the splendid Munich Residence and the elegant Maximilian street - city's traditional shopping street and promenade- are all within a few minutes' walking distance. The hbw Conference Center is located in Munich´s artistic quarter, which offers an unique experience for cultural interested visitors: 18 museums and collections with more than 20.000 sqm of exhibition space, including the world known "Pinakotheks" (picture galleries) and the Lenbachhaus - 12 cultural institutions, 6 renowned universities, 40 galleries and numerous restaurants, bars and cafés.

We offer you any solution – from affordable-  Best-of as web video to expensive livestreaming with our Full-HD studio cameras.

You can place exhibits in the Foyer only if you rent the entire ConferenceArea. The ConferenceArea includes the Europasaal, the Münchner Saal and the Bayernsaal. According to occasion and expected personal number it is recommended to use the Bayernsaal as buffet area. In this case the video wall in the Foyer can be used to show any desired content like image films, logo, broadcast from the plenum, agenda and so on.

The mbw | event management department offers organizational services for any kind of event and supports you all the way from the planning right through to the organization and implementation. We would be pleased to put you in contact with the department.

Please send the packages to „Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft, Max-Joseph-Str. 5, 80333 Munich“ specifying the responsible contact person in our conference center, the event name and the event date. Because of our limited storage possibility we kindly ask you to send your packages shortly before the event. To ensure that your package arrives until the event day, we kindly ask you to inform us about planned packages.

Due to lack of space (kitchen, storage room and returns) is an external event catering impossible.
